Guest guest
There are new files on the http://members.tripod.com/ponseti_links- ivil site that might interest people. For those of you who are living in areas where it is difficult to obtain a foot abduction brace, there is a new file under the bracing page that has pictures taken in Peru of basic hand-constructed bracing. They use standard baby shoes (high-top boots) attached to a piece of wood. These pictures came from Dr. Morcuende at the Univ. of Iowa, and he says that they have been very effective. For those of you who are interested in technical papers/articles, there are two very large (8 and 5 meg) pdf files under the medical papers section that Egbert compiled with 20 different published and unpublished Ponseti articles. The first file is 81 pages long and the second is 72 pages long. Regards, & (3-16-00, left clubfoot)
