Guest guest
Juice Plus+ is also gluten and casein free. I found this product when searching for a way to get better nutrition into my son. It still amazes me that I can now get my son--a self proclaimed vegetarian who won't eat vegetables--to " eat " raw beets, broccoli, cabbage, carrots, kale, parsley, spinach, and tomatoes every single day! It is a whole food supplement with 17 different fruits, vegetables. They juice the produce and then remove all of the water, sugar, and sodium without " killing " the micronutrients. They also do this to the pulp left over from juicing. Then they add some acidophilus, an enzyme blend, some more fiber and some extra phytochemicals. They have mainstream (ha ha, thought I would never be mainstream again! :-)) independent research that has been published in peer reviewed journals that show that all of the nutrients are bioavailable, enhances immune system function, and protects DNA. It comes in capsules, chewables, and gummies. Just to make sure that it really was gfcf (my kids are up and down so it was hard to tell) I sent a sample of each to my extremely celiac and casein intolerant mother who had no ill effects whatsoever. (She was sick for two days after eating a handful of ghiradelli chocolate chips, by the way.) I did this because the company claimed that it was gluten free even though there are oats and barley in it. They replied that they only use the husk which contains no gluten. I've had my whole family on it for two months. In my spectrum kids, we've noticed better skin color, bowel movements, and they are more " there. " They have also gained about 4 pounds each. (Yippee!) Yes, I do sell this stuff. I became a distributor to get my family's product at cost. (I do that a lot. I'm a personal use Creative Memories consultant, Tupperware consultant, and Kay consultant. LOL) So if you would like more info please email me offlist, join my email group, and/or go to my website. ~ in Houston email: dlnba@... email group: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/wellnessplus website: www.wellnessplus.net/B
