Guest guest
Hi Cindy, My doctor had provided me with written instructions as to what to take and when to take them. Most of my stuff in chewable form except for the iron. I take CVS chewable adult multi-vitamin; calcium with Vitamin D chewables 1200 mg; Sublinqual B12 500 mg; and 325 mg Ferrus Iron a day. I know the B12 and iron is the most important out of any of them. You should check with your doctor or he should have provided you with that information at your follow-up. All programs seem to be different and I would do what your doctor tells you. Take care and good luck. Laurette 4/23/04 Open RNY 309/290/265/??? Guest guest
I haven' had any problems with what my doc currently has me on, but we'll see what happens with blood work. Everything seems fine though, energy's good and hair/skin/nails are doing well. I take the following: - Flintstone chewable w/ Iron (2x daily) - Hair/Skin/Nails vitamin (1x daily) - Viactiv calcium chews (2x daily) - Vitamin E pill (1x daily) - B12 shot (1x monthly) This is really a doctor issue, some want you taking more of this or more of that. This combo works great for me for the time being and unless blood work shows otherwise I don't see it changing too much. Congrats on the one week Cindy! Guest guest
Centrum also makes an adult chewable. I purchased a bottle pre-op, and also have some childrens chewables. My doc has said the childrens are a better bet...take one chewable twice a day...allows for better absorption as our bodies can only absorb so much at one time.
