Guest guest
Let her vent when she needs too, if she has to take steroids - understand that they come with their own set of problems, mood swings, weight gain, hot flashes, skin problems, etc Understand that there will be times she will be so tired, she doesn't want to breathe; and let her know she is not being a whimp if she lays down and rests. Gently remind her that together you all will get through it. Encourage her to find out what she is fighting, nothing is as scary if you pull it out into the light and understand what it really is, not what you think it is. It turned out not to be that after high pred dosing, but I was surprised to hear it mentioned in such a popular show. Public awareness is so important if we want to someday find a cure...Take Care,Dawn Invite your mail contacts to join your friends list with Windows Live Spaces. It's easy! Try it!
