We have a yellow lab and he is absolutely wonderful with our 12 yr. old. He

puts up with lots of LOVING!! He is kind, gentle, protective and very

patient. There are days when I look outside and see my son and dog

(usually with leaves and pine needles piled upon his head) staring into each

others eyes.

Unfortunately, we just found out he has a rare arthritis condition and they

say we may have to put him to sleep soon to save him alot of pain (he is only

5 1/2yrs old).
