I finally met Don & . What a blessing these two are. They

met my husband while I was in for my scope & he felt like they were

old friends, instantly. is such a special lady. She took

the time to explain to me how my pouch works, the difference between

proximal & distal, - she even had foam tummies & string colons for

show & tell. & her before & after weight loss pics are something to

behold.

My God she is a beautiful woman with a FLAT tummy. (since mine is no

way near flat, I was just in awe). No one would ever in their

wildest dreams think she or Don had ever been MO. She & Don hung out

with my hubby while I was scoped, , DH, & I went to lunch &

then to Dr. Oh's for my office visit, & then Don met us & we all went

to dinner.

Now, let me explain why this was even more above & beyond the call of

duty. has just had foot surgery & she was in a lot of

pain. Yet, inspight of this, she met us, went into my appointment

with me & hung out for the day (even holding a miniclass on wls & how

it works) when I am sure she would have been more comfortable at

home, in her own bed, & on pain meds.

This is truly a ministry for these two. God has gifted them with the

heart to care for soooooo many of us. Don has the added gift of

understanding from the nonwls spouse & then becoming a wls patient.

He could understand & relate to Chester's (my DH) relunctance when I

had my first surgery & even his confusion.

On the flight home, Chester said we wls people speak a whole " nother "

language. He said he finally knows what MO is but proximal, distal,

transect, etc is still a mystery to him. LOL

Anyway, I just wanted the VitaCouple to know HOW so very much we

appreciate their love & care & to have taken the time for us even

while they are going through their own trial.

I am looking forward to seeing them when I have my revision, again

when I have my tummy tuck, & maybe just going up now & then to say

high & hang out.
