Hi all. I just started my kids on the GFCF diet this

week. We have been mostly dairy free for a month

(didnt pay close attention to labels, but took out big

stuff), but this week have been sticking to stuff on

food list that is 100% GFCF except Rice Dream which we

didnt realize wasnt GF until yesterday. Anyway, my 2

yr olds excema started looking better until Friday,

when he broke out all over with severe excema. It had

started to clear up after eliminating the dairy a

month ago. Three things happened on Thursday and

Friday that may have caused the excema, but not sure

which one: (besides getting over a bad cold that he

had all week)

1. gave him orange juice with calcium (may have been

his first time having OJ, my DH cant remember if he

has given it to him before, and I know I haven't)

2. started Animal Parade Calcium Supplements which he

has never had before (the vanilla sundae flavor that

is listed in the GFCF food list)

3. had a Soy Shake (vanilla almond flavor)

that he had never had before but which I confirmed

with the company is GFCF

This child is a juice child. Never really liked to

drink milk before diet, although he would drink it if

we gave him no other choice. He hates rice milk and

soy milk, will tolerate the Soy Shake in

little bits if really thirsty, and will tolerate water

at times. Mostly cries and screams for juice (not

orange juice - usually juicy juice, or other store

brand juicy juice. - by the way are all 100% juices

safe or can some have gluten or casein - havent been

checking) I am running out of ideas of stuff to give

him to drink. The other day I tried soda and he hated

it. I know too much juice is bad, and if the OJ is

giving him the excema, he cant have that for the

calcium, so what does that leave for drinks and for

calcium? HELP!!!!
