Guest guest
We just got the s at the beginning of this year. They cost exactly $372...$380 with shipping. kannhoudek wrote: I'm sure this has been posted before, but I was curious how much the s cost the first time around (impression kit, shoes and bar). Aleksander has some red marks on the tops of both of his feet that don't seem to go away. They are starting to get worse, and after going to Gillette to see ATD and have adjustments made, we're thinking perhaps we may try the s. Aleksander isn't complaining yet, but I'd prefer not to get to that point if we can avoid it. Our insurance will cover them at 80% like they do the Markells, but I'm curious what the difference will be. Right now, I think we only pay around $15 for the Markells. I'm quite sure the s will be more, but I'd like to be mentally prepared for how much more! Thanks. Aleksander, 11/24/04, bcf
Guest guest
, We pay the 20% too... Our portion of the first set (includes bar) was $75.00...Even though it may seem like a lot, since you were only paying $15.00 before, it is SO worth it...The shoes are wonderful, and they will last at least (on average) 3 months, so we figured that it is $25.00 per month for these miracle shoes... Guest guest
I knew ours were marked up, but geez. Our first two sets of Markells & brace were $575 a piece, and we had to pay $200 for equipment deductible PLUS 20% for the first and 20% the second time, so around $430 for shoes he wore less than 10 wks. Ouch! Haven't got the bill for this set from our new dr yet(he doesn't go thru an orthotist), but we are dreading it on top of all the other medicals this past few months. > > > > , > > We pay the 20% too...
