Guest guest
Here is the recipe for popcorn balls that I use-it came from I believe originally. Popcorn Balls 1/2 C sugar 1/4 C margarine, butter, or ghee 1/2 C light corn syrup 1/4 t. salt 8 cups popped corn Put all ingredients except popcorn into a pan and bring to a boil over med. heat, stirring constantly. Boil 2 minutes while stirring. Remove from heat and stir in popcorn. Dip your hands into cold water or grease with a spray or butter. When mixture is cool enough, shape into balls 2-3 in. in diameter. Place on waxed paper. Either keep cooled balls in tupperware or individual Ziplocs or cellophane . For Carmel Popcorn Balls: use brown sugar in place of sugar and dk. syrup instead of the light. For Chocolate Popcorn Balls: Mix 2 T. cocoa with the sugar.
