Guest guest
Aidan who is almost 8 months old with Bi-lateral clubfoot had his second tenotomy on Tuesday. His ortho thinks it went excellent and feels like this might get us " over the hump " as he put it. He is now in casts and the first two days seemed to go pretty well. I would say the last 24 hours though have been another story. He is cranky and frustrated. He was scooting and almost crawling prior to being put back into casts. He is going to be in casts until Dec. 21 and at that time he will come out and go back into the shoes full-time for one month and then most likely the nighttime wear. It feels like such a long year so far. I cannot believe how big his casts are and the weight that they add to him. I can't carry him around for long. He gets so bored and cranky sitting arouund. Does anyone have any tips on how to help keep him entertained or occupied in his current state.
