I'm mostly a lurker here but had to post since I am currently experiencing a

similar weight shift. I am very upset by it!!! I am beginning to feel like a

failure and eating crud again.........candy, ice cream. white flour.........

..

I was an apple before my surgery. After I had my tummy tuck in January, I

had a waist again and was pleased. Now I am back to an apple. I have lost 20

pounds since my tuck in January (including 10 pounds of skin) but it isn't

coming off evenly??????? I do work out a couple times a week and go up and

down about five to six pounds. I can't seem to get a waist definition, even

though I do some crunches. I am hoping it is caused by some swelling from

the tuck and the tremendous heat here in northern California???????

Don't know why the body is changing shape to a thicker middle again?????

Maybe genetics????? Anyway it's freaking me out enough so that I don't get

on the scale for fear I've gained back weight......more than my five pound

limit anyway. And I am back to my emotional eating.........

So any old-timers out there with pearls of wisdom about body shape

changing?????

Bev,

I had a panniculectomy done in April of last year and it

literally took almost a year before the body shape changing thing settled

down. SOmetimes it just takes a while.
