Guest guest
Hi All, I was wondering if any of you were based in London and if so, whether you knew of any good orthos there to recommend and who have dealt with orthognathic surgery? I lived in London from 1996 to 2003 (went to UCL and then worked for three years) and then moved to NYC to do a two year master degree. I'd like to move back to London to start working in September. However, I will be having upper jaw surgery plus genio at the end of May after i graduate. My ortho here in NYC (who i really like) has told me that after surgery I will need to have braces for another 6 months. I don't really think flying back and forth between NYC and London every 4 weeks to get my braces fixed is realistic so was wondering if maybe I could find a good UK-based ortho to pick up from where my current ortho has left off. I have an excellent dentist in London but no ortho! Any advice is welcome. Cheers, Sara
Guest guest
I'm from way far from you, and from where you're going. But why not ask your ortho for help in finding a London doc? The world is a lot smaller place these days... And why not ask your London general dentist for help in finding a London surgeon? Ibid., and op cit.
