The six months prior to my jaw surgery, when I could think of nothing else, I

kept seeing

people in the news who had underbites and long faces like me: Kerry, Amber

Frey

(the other woman in the trial), and Phelps (US gold medal

swimmer). It was like they were haunting me!

I also heard that Aniston had the surgery in the first or second year

of Friends,

though I certainly don't remember her ever wearing braces.
