Guest guest
Hi Everyone, My latest CT scan showed " widespread mesenteric and body wall edematous changes " . The surgeon and GI doctor are very concerned over this finding , and have ordered a repeat CT scan for comparison sakes. Does anyone have any idea what could be causing the body wall edema in the abdominal cavity.. I have had severe pain in my right upper quadrant now since March 12.. I dont have a gall bladder. I have had the CT scan, ultrasound of my abdomen, hidascan , EGD and colonoscopy as well as numerous blood tests. The surgeon said I need to have an exploratory laparotomy but now wants to see the CT scan first. He did discover one incisional hernia and thinks he is feeling a second one the last time I saw him in his office. I have the CT scan on Monday and will see the surgeon again on Tuesday. My blood tests are consistently showing elevated liver enzymes and elevated bilirubin levels. Thanks in advance.
