Guest guest
Just wanted to share my experience... I've been bleeding for probably 10 years straight. I've been on the diet for 21 weeks now and so many symptoms have improved. Like , my urgency has decreased, my daily stool count has gone down and everything is more formed than ever. However, I do continue to bleed. But I have to believe that all of the positive things taking shape (pun intended are helping my bowels to heal. And I think it is going to take a long time for them to heal since they have been ulcerated and damaged for so long. So I think SCD is working wonders for and even though it's tough, we need to be patient- and with time, the bleeding with subside! -Joanna SCD 9/2009, Crohn's 1992 > > 's been feeling better. Urgency had decreased, number of bathroom visits have decreased, and his energy level is good. He just had stool samples tested however, and all showed blood in his stool. We know his colon was a mess prior to starting the diet (colonoscopy in December showed ulcerations as well as tons of inflammatory polyps). Does the blood at this point sound " normal " given the amount of time on the diet?
