Guest guest
Hi, thanks for the advice. The problem is my dr told me to come when the dizziness happens or when I feel the numbness. So far, when it happens, he's not there! Te numbness is usually in my arms and my right thumb. I don't think it's a sign os stroke for me because there are a few more symptoms with stroke. However, I do get scared when it happens because it might just turn out to be a stroke or heart attack. I still remember how my ns started, couldn't say anything, even though in my mind I was trying to talk. Which I have had approx. 30 of them since Oct. 08. In days I go to UTSW in Dallas, tx. for an Exam and further Diag. Pomy if like me you also have memory trouble you should keep a Journal of when this happens. Show you fully explain it to the Doc when you have your visit. You didn't say if it was one or both limbs going numb when this is happening. If it is one limb then I suggest you get to the ER right away, because it could be a stroke that is happening. If it is both or all of your limbs , like me the is more then likely your NS causing it. But either way you should get to or talk to to your Doc right away..Greg>> *Pomy,> I have numbness all the time, in many various places, If I sit too long, my> rear is numb and> I need help moving, It get numbness in my toes and fingers when it's cold> and it's painful,> the left side of my face is always numb.> But with the dizzy spells and you falling, you should probably get that> checked out, I don't> get dizzy, I get this "spacey" feeling, like air is whooshing through my> head, and makes> me feel kind of light headed, I have to stop what I'm doing for a few> minutes, and headaches> all the time, I see the doc today, so will mention it to him, but you should> do the same.> It could be your NS acting up, especially because you say your limbs are> falling asleep.> Let me know how you do,> Blessings,> Marla> > *> > > > 2009/3/31 Moish Pomeranc > > > Hi to all,> >> > I was wondering if anyone else suffers from limbs "falling asleep".
