Hi everyone -- I don't post often, but I have been tryig to figure

out how to calculate my weight loss. I understand that to be a

sucessful wls person, you have to loose between 70 - 100% of your

weight. Three years ago I weighed 353 lbs. I lost down to 211 lb.

and now am back up to 240 - 245. Can someone tell me how do you

calculate your percentage? I have been feeling like a complete

failure. I lost all that weight during the first 18 mos. and have

since been fighting weight gain. In Jan. 2003, I had a upper GI done

and was told everything was fine. I realize we are supposed to have

bounce back weight gain, but I never imagined it would be this much.

I know that I'm not doing what I'm supposed to do. I have been

exercising for the past couple of months and trying to watch what I'm

eating, but not with much luck. I realized that because I was

excersing, I felt that I could have that extra cookie or some of

those chips. For the past couple of months my weight has been going

up 5 lbs and then down 5 lbs. Arrrgh!!! I try to do the protein

drinks, to try to get me back on track, and at work I have no

problems with it. The problem is when I get home, I am constantly

eating whatever I can get my hands on, all the way up to bedtime. I

don't even think about the protein drink. Any suggestions?
