Hi,

I had my all four of my wisdom teeth at the time my braces were put

on. The orthodontist felt I could go either way -- keep 'em or have

them taken out -- it was up to me. I opted to keep them.

Well, that orthodontist moved away and my new orthodontist said I

needed them taken out. At that point I was sort of relieved because

it was next to impossible to floss back there.

Luckily all four were erupted and straight so I had my dentist take

them out with only novacaine. It was pretty easy and the braces

didn't have any impact on the process at all. I did need to get the

bands taken off the four wisdom teeth by the orthodontist the day

before, that's all.
