Ya know, we went thru this earlier this year-- could someone search the

messages for the previous posts? I have a PPO plan, prudent buyer, with

a large law firm. the benefits are pretty good, since it covers our

lawyers, too. Dr. A put in for the DS and the Panni in May, I was

approved and had the panni 6/13. There has been no indication so far

that they are gonna renege on the DS. Blue Cross of CA has different

plans, some are more restrictive than others, and it just depends on what

your company bought and paid for. You gotta read those contracts. Tom

on this list also had the cross and got his paid for, too. Mostly they

are getting stingy with home health care visits-- they cut them off

without giving me any warning-- which was a plain nasty thing to do-- and

sort of left me high and dry ( or low and wet, given the drainage thing.)

I had to arrange for my own wound care without referrals, etc.

Fortunately, I have a nice Primary care doc who helped out.
