Fighting the Insurance Battle

Hi All,

I could really use some support and information today. I just got

the word that, after thinking that my insurance coverage was probably

going to pay for my DS surgery, that the coverage for weight-loss

programs, including surgery, is only $5000. Needless to say, two

months down the road, this is quite a blow. What I'm wondering is:

1. Has anyone out there ever had CCN completely pay for their WLS?

2. Has anyone ever successfully challenged an insurance company with

inadequate coverage and had them pay for the whole procedure? A

Any insight and advice would be greatly appreciated, because I am

determined to get switched no matter what! Good grief! You couldn't

get ingrown toenail surgery for $5K. Hope someone can help me get

over this hurdle.
