Guest guest
I spoke too soon when I wrote earlier today about feeling paranoid that I could eat anything. Tonight I had chicken stew for dinner and it really bothered me. This is the 4th time I tried chicken and each time it really bothered me. Turkey is fine and so is everything else. Has anyone else had a chicken problem? As for the dieting mentality, I know you are all right. I went through a year of several miscarriages in 1996 and was told by my doctor to stop all dieting while I was trying to have kids. Dieting can raise your risk for miscarriage and I wanted to avoid all risks I could. I never dieted after my son was born in December 1997 and became pregnant again when he was 9 months old. After my daughter was born, I knew that my weight was borderline for WLS. I was afraid to diet because I might lose too much to qualify for surgery. Then of course I had to try dieting to satisfy my insurance. To be honest, this is the first time in over 6 years that I have really tried to lose weight. I wonder if my heart is really in it sometimes as I went for so long without trying. I am trying not to obsess, but it sure can be hard. Kathy M.
