,

I tried looking for therapists by posting ads with the local colleges and

universities, but, did not find anyone. What worked was putting an ad in the

local paper-is there a pennysaver kind of free paper in your local community? We

put an ad in our local paper (in Long Island, NY) and got an overwhelming

response. The only thing is that most (if not all) of the people who will answer

your ad will probably not have prior ABA experience so you will need your

current therapist to agree to train the people you hire. Let me know how it

works out.

I need to do ABA at home as well because he will only get 15 hours/wk at

school. Where do I start looking for an ABA therapist? I was told to post

employment notices at the colleges around here (Looking for a grad- to- be

who has hands on with developmentally disabled/austistic children, etc.) I am

spinning my wheels here in Detroit, Michigan! Please Help!
