Guest guest Posted July 7, 2003 Report Share Posted July 7, 2003 A good friend, not a WLS patient, went through this: attacks of severe pain if she ate any fat, yet all the tests (including GB ultrasound) were negative. They finally decided to take out her gall bladder anyway and found lots of sludge, but no stones. It did the trick, in any case, and can now eat anything without pain.
