Guest guest
Hi n, Yeah, I was taking, upon second count, about 30 pills per day. They were: 4 prenatal pills (one whole dose, and I'm not pregnant) by Vital Nutrients w/o iron or iodine 4 B complexes 2 vitamin A 2 vitamin D (5,000IUs ea) 1 vitamin E 1 prednisone (5mg) 2-3 acyclovir (for herpes maintenance) 1 boulardii probiotic 1 biotin (5000 mcg) 2 evening primrose oil (omega 6,9) 2 tbsp cod liver oil (omega 3s) by Nordic Naturals 1-2 iron pills (different brands to see what would work best) 3 quercetins (500mg ea) 1 Sleep Tonight pill (lots of ingredients) 1 DHEA (dehydrone-5, 5mg to counteract lethargy from tapering prednisone), recently added was taking 5 clotrimazole tabs/day to fight yeast before switched to candida diet. 1 - 2 allegras sometimes to see if it would help I think my kidneys were overloaded. When I stopped my energy was up, my vision went form being " watery " looking, like looking through a lense or fish tank, and blurry to just fine most of the time, my back stopped hurting so much, I can bend forward w/o discomfort. I also found out I had a lesion in my liver on an MRI in January - I have no idea why - the docs tell me not to worry about it. Not sure if that could be related. Today is the first day I've cut out the probiotics and yogurt (again), I'm just taking the prednisone and the acyclovir. I also just upped to 10mg prednisone. I will probably try to start taking at least the multivitamin again in the near future, but right now it seems like just eating food had helped. You guys are gonna flip, but I was starting to feel awful again after losing lots of blood with this flair, random crying, pain everywhere, hurting to drink water, general feeling of doom and gloom. When I would think about something stressful (lots going on for me right now), I would feel it in my gut. So...after reading that other things (like LDN) that boost opiate production are exercise (can't do right now), acupuncture, and the oh so forbidden chocolate, I was desperate last night to feel OK so I could stop getting adrenaline rushes and go to sleep, so I ate a teeny weeny amount of cocoa powder I still had from before, let it sit on my tounge and dissolve, and I immediately felt better and was able to sleep. No noticeable changes in the morning, besides better mood. Did it again around noon (don't worry - I'm not gonna start with it every day, but I've been feeling really really crappy, npi). My pain is less today, and it actually felt good to take a shower - I haven't felt a sensation of pleasure since starting the prednisone in December. I don't advocate chocolate for anyone, since it is not on the diet, but I thought I would share my experience. We'll see what happens from here. It won't be an isolated experiment since I also upped my prednisone to 10mg today. Kat > > > Thanks!
