Guest guest
Kim Thanks so much for your reply. Its good to hear of your experience even if it was not a positive one. All information is good. I got the dig. enz. pills today and since they are in capsule form I'm thinking of opening one and starting off with " half " of one. I made the mistake (OK experiment) a few days ago of drinking a glass of water with a capful of apple cider vinegar. Wow what a meltdown. Everything in my colon came screaming out within a couple hours. Haven't had that since starting SCD over 10 weeks ago. I may not need digestive enzymes. It may be that my colon is just not functioning well after 10 years with UC and is not processing food properly therefore too much excreted on a daily basis. Maybe it just takes time to become " normal " again. I'm happier being C than D, that much I know. I'd just like less #2 and more regularity. I take a pro-biotic daily but cannot tolerate yogurt, even homemade. I just started some homemade sauerkraut to get more good biotics inside.
