Carol - I saw a complex homeopath for a while, who treated

imbalances in my organ systems (including the candida), but that

wasn't terribly successful after a while. I'm now seeing a classical

homeopath, who's treating the emotional and psychological side of

things more (I get horribly depressed and anxious, and my worst

symptom is a weird spacey head). He's getting some good results -

I feel a lot calmer and more poisitive since starting my treatment

with him

I'm treating the candida itself with herbs and diet, and now a

cranial osteopath is sorting out the damage done by the

stress/anxiety and improving my cerebral blood flow. I'm also

seeing a sort-of-Reiki-ish healer, seeing my 'regular' doctor fairly

frequently, and learning chi-gung and tai chi, so all in all I'm hitting

it from every available angle!

WOW ANN! That sounds like a great thing if it is working! I don't like

those almighty cracks...they always sent me to bed...so I am nervous of

chiropractic type manipulation...I even worked for one once!

I get this weird spacey head, too, and it drives me nuts! Have you gotten

relief from it with the cranial sacral therapy? Have you found anything

that gets rid of it at all? Does anyone know what it is?????

Well, I've onyl had the intial session, and he ddn't do a great deal,

but he said my cranial rhythm was 'pretty dead' adn needed

restarting, adn that I had a compressed 4th ventrucle in my brain. I

also had vertebral probems which seemed to be messing with the

blood flow to my brain - once he'd clicked my back and neck back

into place there was a big rush of blood to my head and I felt a lot

less spacey! Mine seems to be a combination of this and food

reactions - it gets far worse after I eat something I'm sensitive to,

and my homeopath reckons that it's because proteins leaking

through my gut might be getting through the blood-brain barrier and

interfering with neurotransmitters in my brain. A careful diet helps

with this, but nothing has managed to clear it properly so far,

although my full cranial session next week should help a lot! I hope

so - the spaceyness is the WORST!

Wish I could find someone like him! My daughters neck cracks every time she

bands it backwards and forwards. She is only 4 and it sounds awful. I want

to take her to a chiropractor, but they are all too new age, the ones around

here anyways.

I am looking forward to beginning this treatment for both of my boys,

18 mos. The DO has been sending me info and articles related to this

type of treatment, and this particular one mentions head shape

briefly. I am currently looking for more that may have been written

in regards to osteopathy as a treatment for plagio.

My son did osteopathic treatments for his tort and it made a huge difference in his ability to move his neck and head. It didn't help the reshaping of his head or his ears but it gave him the ability to move his head. Good luck! kingstontchr2 <kingstontchr2@...> wrote: Has anyone heard of this as treatment for plagio, or have had their children involved in it?Mom of Jimmy9months - gets STAR Band

The osteopaths that have a children's practice like our brilliant one in Stowmarket Suffolk. are well used to ASD CP and other neuro issued kids and they work around it.. They usually have a few toys to distract them, however if you have a toy which ds likes and is reactive to.. it is worth taking that too.

The cranial stuff is brilliant to support the body during growth periods and for us it has had a good impact on Seizure activity too.- Improved immune system and overall well being too.

Best wishes

Hi, My little boy went to see cranial osteopath with great results and visilbe improvements for balance and coordination. As he was restless and hyper always took laptop to let him watch something during the 20 min session. The upledgers institute trained people are supposed to be the best. From:
