I saw the surgeon regarding Ethel (my hernia)

The doctor I saw today said to stick with Deveney. My hernia was really no big

deal. He said the fascia(sp) layer is wide so there will be no strangulation to

worry about. He told me it is a good idea to wait till I reach goal and have the

repair and tuck done at the same time.

I am so relieved. I am not mentally ready for another surgery. I have several

hard lumps up top of my stomach near the rib cage. He was unsure what they were

and to have Deveney look at the x-ray he took to see if he knows. He thinks this

may be why the pain is so severe in my ribs.
