Hi Kay,

Don't worry about the brainless part. We met once over a year ago...

(16 months?) at a meeting in Fremont. It was a support group

meeting that Dr Dutta attending in an effort to allay patient

concerns. So I understand you not remembering me. I did see you at

one point, but I was a bit overwhelmed by all the commotion at that

point and wanted to stay in my " safe " zone. *L*

I liked Dr. Katzen...very witty and informative. The second Doctor

was okay...I wasn't paying too much attention as he was talking

about what Kaiser has already taught me. I think Dr Ciraglo (?) was

good...but he got drowned out by the " what about me " post-ops who

kept hammering him on specifics. I think he left a lot unsaid

because he ran out of time. And yes, hand outs from him would have

been good.

I don't know what to think about the life coach...she was just

there - did not appeal to me...nor did she turn me off. A blank

slate I guess. Lori Cochrane on the other hand, turned me off! She

was WAY too perky and kept talking about HER BOOK throughout her

discussion because I think she really wanted us to buy HER BOOK,

even going to the point of offering it at a sale price so we would

buy HER BOOK. Did I mention she is selling HER BOOK? : )

Regarding Dr. Ganz, I did like her. She is smart, witty and

charming. She was full of information. However I would not want to

emulate her presentation style. She was not focused and kept ping-

ponging about whatever popped into her head. My personal opinion is

that she needs an organization class, to better coordinate her

message. At the end I was wishing she would just stop talking, and

at the same time I regretted feeling that was as she did have good

things to say. I just couldn't stand to listen to her anymore so I

turned her off and started to read the magazine.

And yes, a cash windfall would be nice post-op to visit Dr Katsen

with.
