Register for the Enabling Services

Technical Assistance Conference Call!

Special Funding Opportunity!

HRSA’s Bureau of Primary Health Care has recently announced a rare

opportunity to fund enabling services for special populations (Migrant Health Centers,

Health Care for the Homeless, and Public Housing Primary Care). To learn more

about the Enabling Services for Special Populations funding opportunity please

visit:

http://www.hrsa.gov/grants/technicalassistance/enablingservices.htm.

With outreach programs citing funding sources as the greatest area of

programmatic need (FHSI’s 2005-06 National Needs Assessment), this

funding presents a stellar opportunity for health centers to provide the

enabling services so critical to ensure farmworkers’ access to care.

Informational Conference Call!

Farmworker Health Services, Inc., Migrant Health Promotion, and the National

Association of Community Health Centers are excited to offer an Enabling

Services Technical Assistance Conference Call. This call is relevant to any

Migrant Health Grantee interested in applying for the Enabling Services for

Special Populations award.

We will address the following during the call:

·

Enabling services models supported by this funding

opportunity

·

Resources and tips for developing the funding

application

·

One-on-one training and technical assistance

available to you prior to submitting the application

·

One-on-one training and technical assistance available

to you after receiving funding for the project

The

informational conference call will be on February 4th at 3:00 PM EST. To register for

the call, please visit http://www.farmworkerhealth.org/previouspeer.html.

Call-in information and resources will be sent to you after registering for the

call.

This is an

exciting opportunity for all special populations; federal funding opportunities

like this are rarely available. We encourage all Migrant Health Grantees to

apply for this funding.

I would be

happy to answer any questions,

Adam
