Guest guest
I have a question about replying to posts. I have a hard time getting through much of the postings from my digest because I am reading the same posts over and over. How do you reply with out getting the repeated posts? Example being:::: If I reply to a reply I then see the original post and then the ones after. It makes it messy and too long to read most of the digest. There! my rant was over and no name calling ;O}

Guest guest
My advice? Dump the digests! I too started reading the groups using digest mode, and it drove me CRAZY! (See folks, we can blame all my strangeness on digest mode) Once I switched to individual e-mails, I found that I could read my group e-mails MUCH more quickly. It is easy to take a quick glance at a message (I use preview mode on my e-mail program) and I can tell within about a second if I have the slightest interest in reading a message, or just delete it, or flag it for further action later. I say this as someone who is a member of literally two dozen groups (some are basically dead, some are pretty quiet, and some have zillions of messages). It is helpful to have your e-mail program filter messages, putting group e-mails into a separate folder. At 21:03 07/03/2006, bobbiejocolbert wrote: >I have a question about replying to posts. Guest guest
Thanks for the suggestion. I will change my preferences. I get so much out of the posts even if it doesn't directly apply to my current situation. Thanks! >
