Guest guest
Hey everyone - I had my first appt this morning with Beth in Richmond. She was awesome, and said I was an ideal candidate for the surgery. She gave me the time line for how everything will go now, and she said dependant on how long it takes me to lose my 10% I could probably look at early January for surgery (yay!). She said I should get my orientation date within the next 2 weeks, and gave me her direct line to call her if I didn't hear back from them in the time line she gave me. So then we talked about why the process had taken so long for me. She said that all the patients in the Sacramento area pretty much got screwed by SSF. That because Sacramento does none of the pre qual or psych evals, all referrals got sent to SSF to process - and SSF (which is small she said) got really behind. So all the Sacramento area patients got more or less pushed to the side, then eventually pawned off on Richmond. She said Richmond is trying really hard to accomodate all the Sacramento area patients that have been waiting a while, and have been bumping them ahead of recent new referrals (god I would hope so!) So if you are in the Sac area and wondering why it seemed like it was taking for ever...now you know Misty
