Guest guest
Hi all! I had my case manager meeting today with Liz in Richmond. It went very smoothly, and I've been scheduled for surgery on Aug 9. They drew blood today, and Liz said that my EKG (last week) was fine, which made me happy. For some reason, I was really worried about that. Beth the Nut. is going on vacation, so the only Pre-Op Nutrition class between now and my surgery is tomorrow! After that, four more appointments: Anesthesiologist and Surgeon on 8/1 and another Pre-Op class and a Health History appointment on 8/3. Then SURGERY! I'm so... * excited * scared * worried * did I mention excited? * or scared? That's my story, and I'm sticking to it! a

Guest guest
a: Congratulations! Wow, this is such a great time for you!!! And you should know that your mixed emotions--elation, fear, dread, excitement--are completely normal. I remember when I found out my surgery date, I was a bag of emotions. At times I was crying for joy; other times I was silenced in fear. At times I was motionless with the weight (no pun intended) of it all. But underneath it all was a resolve that I'd get through this to reach the other side. I'm sure you know what I mean. As you feel this tsunami of emotions, lean on us for support. We're here for you. Yay for you!!! Francisco > > Hi all! > > I had my case manager meeting today with Liz in Richmond.
