I am sorry but you can not edit the calendar. It is a calendar that is for the group site. It was for that reason members do not have that access.

How can I remove the events from this group's calender from my personal Yahoo calendar? I'd rather that they not show up there.

I don't know that you can eliminate them from your personal calendar. I think that they merge because you belong to the group and you joined using the same name that you use for your other yahoo stuff. Sorry. You might want to check in the yahoo calendar help and see if you can find out there and if there isn't an answer there then you can also send then an email asking if it can be done.

I know that I cannot edit the group calendar, but I don't want the group events showing up on my PERSONAL yahoo calendar -- the one that I look at when I log into my account and it shows my personal events. The group events show up there as well, and I'd prefer them not to.

I got this from the Yahoo help

I am editing it to meet your needs:

Sign into your own Yahoo! account (not the group one).

To edit your Time Guides to NOT show the group calendar:

Make sure that you are signed into your Yahoo! (Personal) Calendar

account.

Click on " Calendar Options " (it may say " Options " )on the right of

the calendar page,

On the next page press " Time Guides " .

Within the " Groups " category, in the " Show on Calendar " column, you

can select which Group Calendars you want to show on your calendar.

Click the " Save " button to save your changes.

Thanks so much! I looked all over the options settings, but must have missed the "time guides". Since I have my calendar set to share with people that I have not discussed WLS with, I didn't want it showing through.
