Okay kiddies, I'm just checking in, as promised. I'm still doing pretty good on the meal plan (I do slip once ina while and eat something I shouldn't, but I haven't gone full boar over the edge at all.) I don't get out and walk as much as I should but I am still swimming 3 times a week and have noticed some nice results already. Of course, part of the reason I'm not walking much is this God awful heat. Once it cools down some, I'll get out there and walk some more. I'm actually loking forward to losing all this excess weight because one of the "side effects" a lot of post-ops talk about is being cold all the time. That won't be so nice in the winter, but I hate summers so much right now because I just don't do heat well. It'll be nice to be able to abide by it. :)

Anyway, as to the results I have noticed from my swimming... I have realized some lost inches in my hips and thighs. Since I haven't really measured those areas before, I don't know how much of me has diappeared, but it's significant enough for me to notice, so I'm pleased so far. ALSO... 2 days ago, the Craig scale here in Napa said I was 431. It's entirely possible that I've lost an additional 2 pounds since then. If so, I am now a proud and happy member of the century club (and that's pre-op, folks!) On July 24, 2005, when I re-started this journey, I was at 529. It's like the fog is lifting and I can see the 399 written on the wall at the end of the tunnel. Of course, I'd not have made it this far without the support of everyone here. You are all such wonderful, caring people. I wish I could just hug you all! :) Okay, mushy stuff aside, THANK YOU ALL! Now, let's all lose some more weight! LOL
