Guest guest
Hi Jenn, Kaiser will test you up, down, in & out according to your age and specific circumstances: *nutritionist, who makes sure you know how to measure and classify food *psychiatric specialist, who makes sure you have realistic expectations and you're not too nuts *surgeon & anesthesiologist *Blood test(s) & if you're over age 50, a proctologist for a (whoopie) siegmoidoscopy to rule out intestinal problems and I think there was a social worker in there along with something else my aged brain has erased. One gal at our group meetings has to take a years worth of nutrition classes before she's even admitted to the program. I think that's extreme because she's never tried any weight loss program. Onward and downward, Joyce Post-op 1/25/06 Kaiser Fremont, Dr. Hahn -111 lbs.
