Guest guest
Dear RSS Families, I know that this site is primarily for the use of RSS families and the conditions associated with the syndrome. Today, I am asking for prayer for a child who doesn't have RSS, but is terminally ill. I met the family through a local support agency parent group. The baby boy is two. He was just diagnosed today with multiple brain tumors. They are coating his brain like frosting. It's a terrible thing to see. He's in constant pain. I am fund raising for them so that they can make the journey back and forth to Washington D.C. for a last ditch effort on Chemo. Our " expert " children's hospital just up the road said there was nothing else they could do. Please pray for a miracle of healing. Please pray I can find plenty of deep pockets with compassion for a precious child and his family. So far I got the neighborhood grocery store to donate them a Thanksgiving dinner. Then I raised about 250.00 in 24 hours. That will help with the first trip to D.C. My goal is to raise $ for two months income so Daddy can stay home from work with mom and son. His job will give him the leave, but not the pay while he's gone. In all honesty this may be the last holiday they have with their son. Please pray! Kearns Lynchburg, VA.
