Guest guest
Hi Tonya, We do give a higher dose over the next few nights if we have to miss a shot (probably happens a few times a year due to sickness, etc). We spread it out over several nights so he doesn't get too much in one night. We've told our doctor this, and he is fine with it. All the studies we read about GH show that the cumulative dose is the most important over many years, so we'd rather give him a bit extra over a few nights than have him miss it altogether. I'd be interested to hear what your doctor says. Message: 10 Date: Wed, 24 Nov 2004 10:47:04 -0800 (PST) Subject: Re: Debbie D. re GH response Just have a quick ?. When you miss a shot can you make up for it by giving higher doses throughout the week. Wouldn't do this w/out consent of endo, but wondering if any others have done this?
