I just knew I was typing your name wrong, but I could not figure out

why. Now I know.

I love the photo that Ade sent you - the one of us on the penny

floor in Niagara Falls, right? That was my idea, I might add. I

thought it was the coolest floor! Literally and decoratively.

Thanks for the input on the acne. I know that the increased

testosterone affects the skin, but my husband has been making me

crazy with insisting that it also has to do with gh. He pointed out

body builders who have this problem and I guess he is generalizing

it to Max. Believe me, he is NOT a body builder, even if his PE

teacher is making him lift weights. He is more into walking than

anything else.

As for my foot, I am due to have surgery on December 27. I've got

to have a nerve severed because it is being pinched by scar tissue

and there is no cure. I've been taking Neurontin for awhile and it

helps some, but I cannot tolerate enough to be more therapeutic. (It

makes me sleepy.) I also have arthritis now in a strange joint, but

the ortho said we will deal with that surgery at another point in

time. I'm taking meds for that, too. I really wanted to have the

surgery sooner, but I would have to be out of school for a week and

I don't want to use the 5 sick days with a kid like Max around, when

we never know when he will get sick. So I opted for Christmas

vacation. I'll be on crutches when we go back to school, but I can

deal with that.

I hope your back is doing better. I know you have been plagued by

that for a long, long time.
