What about a Firm Mattress

Hi All-

We are still in the process of getting my Nate in his band. I read a

few post's regarding a firm mattress. Is a firm mattress needed

because of the band? I heard some people bought a twin memory foam top

and cut it to fit the crib. Is there any safety issues with them

rolling back and forth, meaning, is it harder for them to roll from

back to side to front? His current mattress seems to give in the

middle and I was wondering if this would be a good choice for him.Any

information would be great.
