Guest guest
Hi Aussie Ann or should I say Brizzy Ann ? A horse maybe just what you need to get Al around in that wagon or a big dog. Some of those dogs are big enough to be a horse. Then you can take him for the pool exercises, just don't let him take the horse or dog in the pool. Fred did have rehab with the pool exercises for a few months. They say it's good to do as it keep's the b/p normal. Fred did enjoy doing that,it was just hard for him to redress after he had it. By the time he got to his shoes he couldn't get those on, so he would come out holding them. On the eyes, Fred's vision has gotten better, but they became really dry and he always has some kind of film in them. So we are always trying one thing or another to get rid of it. His eye doctor gave him Quixin to try to clear it up. Did help for awhile, but now it's getting to be about the same. Other things we've used is a few drops of baby shampoo in water and clean the lashes with it. This helps some also. Always one thing or another going on , another thing to learn about. You take care and keep out of the surf. Hugs Vera Hi Vera, Having a bit of a giggle over Fred's travels in his electric wheelchair (15th). I agree I think I will need a wagon for Al, but how about I get a horse to pull it for him too? Mind you the way he steers things these days he'll confuse the poor Neddy so much it'll refuse to move and then Al will get mad at it. He use to always tell me how to ride my horse when I had one - mind you he was pretty good at it sometimes. He's been pretty good of late and often teases me about driving when he finds the keys. He's pretty good at finding things too! I've noticed plenty of posts lately about " eye problems " Al has noticed some days that he just doesn't see things in front of him. This disease plays around with everything in a person's body. Noticed people are getting a little mixed up with Ann in Soddy Tn with me as Brizzy Ann in Brisbane Australia. Still all these posts are very interesting to read. We don't have the new wonder drug " Lexapro " here in Aus as yet. Though when it does come Al's going to try it, we're sure that this will help him as Zoloft isn't. Trying to get Al interested in doing pool exercises, however all he wants is to go to the beach into the surf! Yep I know what he's like when he gets into the water he goes out for miles - I'm not a very keen or strong swimmer! Brizzy Ann
