Guest guest
Hi Jodi! I am so behind on posts! I thought I would tell you, Paisley is dealing with acne pretty bad, and her regular pediatrician has prescribed some face cream that really helps, but the biggest thing he said was to get her a Benzoil Peroxide face wash! This makes the biggest difference for her. She has the acne on her face, chest and back. (and she is only 11) (her dad) had horrible acne when he was a teen and the dr. said it was inherited, but the sooner we treat it the less likely it is to get out of control. Anyhow, she has to wash her face, chest and back every morning and night, then she uses a salycic acid face pad, then her prescription cream. (At night there is an extra cream for her forhead (where it is the worst due to bangs!) and she sleeps with her hair off her face!(Very important) One of my foster boys also has acne and the dermatologist doesn't do anything different than our pediatrician except for a long term antibiotic. Anyhow, just thought I would chime in. It is very obvious when she is not washing as she should just after one or two days. (She needs lots of reminders!) Blessings to you, Carmen
