Guest guest
Hi all, I just wanted to report on Henry's progress after our visit with Dr.H yesterday. I am very pleased to say that Henry is in the 25% for height and weight for his age. His target range in around the 27% so I'd say he is almost there. Henry weighed in at 34lbs and measured 40in - he is 4 1/2 yrs. It has been a miracle meeting all of you, discovering Magic and Dr.H. I know for certain that there would have been no chance that in these past 2 yrs Henry would have grown 9 in and gained 14lbs on his own. He has so far to go with eating but taking care of his reflux, constipation, putting in the g-tube and finally the GHT has made all the difference for him. The only med she increased was Periactin. She had a long chat with Henry about trying new foods but so far not a morsel of something new has crossed his lips in two days. At this point I hardly care, I'm just so happy to see him on a chart finally! Thanks again to all, Henry - RSS 4yrs, G-tube, nissan, pyloro, periactin, prilosec, benefiber, zantac, peptamen jr, nutropin - nonRSS 8yrs
Guest guest
Hi ! Congratulations on the weight gain. I'm so happy to hear that Henry's doing so well, he's really come a long way! I can still see his shy little smile when we met all of you on the shuttle bus at the airport. You've done such a great job and should be so proud of yourselves, you were meant to be this little boy's mom. Guest guest
Hi , Glad to hear about the great visit!!! Did you find a feeding therapist? I know you were talking about looking for one. Based on a referral from Dr H, 's school added feeding therapy 5 times a week to his therapy schedule at school. Since he eats both breakfast and lunch at school, they can easily accomodate him. He has been eating much better the last few days. Judith, Steve, (RSS) and (non RSS) 4 3/4 year old twins

Guest guest
what do you mean his target range is that the percentile he would be as an adult? if so how did you come up with that percentage? Guest guest
I am a statuesque 61 " (but I think I appear 63 " ) and my husband is 71 " so you add 5 " to my height add it to my husband's divide by 2 and you come up with 68 " which is in the 25% for height for an adult male. Therefore Henry's target height range is 25%. RSS or not there probably was never any hope Henry would be 6 feet tall, so 5' 8 " souds pretty good.
