Guest guest Posted November 24, 2002 Report Share Posted November 24, 2002 Hi, Joe and I went on a repositioning cruise about a year ago. ( That's wwhere the ship moves from summer to winter ports. In this case from Europe to the Carribian.) There were a few people on board in wheelchairs. One chair bound women and her family hit the internet and made arrangements for a private car and driver. It was expensive but 2 other people shared the car making it a little less than the cruise line's tour. Sorry I don't know the site. Joe did very well with the leasurely pace of the tours. (He seems to do better on stairs and hillsthan a flat path.) We ran into a storm crossing the Atlantic but the rough seas didn't bother either of us. His only complaint was that we were so far from the elevator/stairs. Our cabin was up at the bow. I will request a mid ship cabin next time. Have group members ever tried to get together on a cruise?
