How long does it take for Periactin to increase appetite?

HI everyone yet again. Autumn started on 1/2 tsp. of Periactin twice

a day, once in the morning, once in the afternoon. It's been 5 days

and there is absolutly no change in appetite. Does it take a while

to kick in? She still takes 2-4 oz per bottle feeding, (4 is a lot)

and picks at her food. Any ideas? Am I not giving it enough time?
