Guest guest
Thank you all for your prayers for my stepmom Sherry. I read her the notes from many of you, and she remembers so many of you and/or your children from the past few conventions. She had surgery on one artery which was 100% blocked. The remaining blocked artery is 80% blocked but in a tricky position. After monitoring her for 2 days, they have released her to home, with lots of meds - while she undergoes further testing so the experts in bigger cities can decide how to fix this remaining artery. The irony is that Sherry was only 52, had normal blood pressure and normal cholesterol, and was ALWAYS on my dad's back about everything, she was so adamant that he was going to have a heart attack. Everyone who knows her is just laughing out loud! At Thanksgiving, she was even admonishing Dad for eating potato chips.... it is kind of ironic, and truly shows you that there are some things that are completely out of our control. Sherry was touched deeply by all your notes. She said that she had no idea how loved she was until she had this heart attack. Thank you again.
