Guest guest
Me again.... Ok, so Matt started on Reglan, and I was very optimistic. But about 3 weeks into it, he started not wanting to go to sleep. Scared about monsters and electricity coming out of his body, something under his bed, etc. Very non sensical, but very real to him. When it went on for 4 or 5 straight nights, I began to suspect the Reglan and took him off. It is slowly resolving. But, he has an appt with a feeding clinic on Wednesday and the speech therapist called today and said she has never seen that reaction in kids. I thought Reglan could have all kind of neuro problems? WHen his GI prescribed it, she said stop it if he has any problems and we'll see her in January. SO? Am I nuts or could it be the reglan? Anybody have a website or info I can take into the feeding person? Beth
Guest guest
I don't know of a website, but do remember being told by two different GIs that they do not like Reglan -- never was specific about the side effects, just said that they have had too large of a percentage of kids have troubles. Hmmm. Jenn > > Me again.... > > Ok, so Matt started on Reglan, and I was very optimistic. But about > 3 weeks into it, he started not wanting to go to sleep. Guest guest
Beth, Max cannot take Reglan. It makes him very nervous and agitated. It's not a pretty picture. I guess Matt is not alone in this one. Jodi Z
Guest guest
My daughter is not on Reglan - but I know there are many side effects - also it is strongly recommended NOT to be on it longer than 4-12 weeks- this is why Drs don't like to prescribe it - - If you " google " side effects of Reglan = there is much info -
