Ok for those that want to read what started this debate over cube or stick

here is the posting as it was on Sep 9, 2000. Only thing that Annie did

different was she couldn't find Germam Chocolate cake mix, so she just used

chocolate cake mix. If you want to see the ribbon I won, you can see it at

posting #4027. Bill and I have been going around on cubes or sticks ever

since.

Subject: another brownie recipe.

Hello Anne: I've got another brownie recipe for you. I'm putting it

in here between lisarhodes return mail.lol Anyway this one is easy

also and I think you would enjoy it. if you can get everything your

way for it.

Caramels Brownies : 1 box German Chocolate cake mix , 1 cup

chocolate chips, 1 cup walnuts chopped , 2/3 cup pet milk (Evaporated

milk, Not kanagroo milk.lol) ,43 caramels ,1 1/2 cubes margarine.

In large bowl mix by hand 1 box of german chocolate cake mix, 1 cup

nuts, 1/3 cup evaporated milk and 1 1/2 cubes melted butter.

in a saucepan melt 43 caramels and 1/3 cup evaporated milk till

smooth.

Split dough in 1/2 and press 1/2 in bottom of bakepan . Bake for 6

min at 350. remove from oven. add 1 cup chocolate chips to top of

baked dough, then add warm caramels, top that with chumps of the

other half of the cake mix dough Bake for another 18 minutes at 350.

Then let cool. enjoy
