Not that it's " my " holiday per se, but thanks to being explosed to commercialism

for 38

years, I enjoy the non-secular aspects of Christmas as much as the next person.

With that,

please click on the link to see the 10-second video of the front of our house

this year (it's

best viewed with Internet Explorer. Please allow a few seconds to load the

video. A few

minutes if you have dial-up).

And yes.....they move.

Special thanks to " Santa " (the webmaster), Steve (who has a digital camera

that can

also take video) and the best husband in the world, Joe, who puts up with my

ideas like

this.

Super special nod to my parents, who wouldn't let me have a Christmas tree when

I was

growing up (I wouldn't have minded if we were the least bit religious, but we

observed

NOTHING in our Jewish faith)...so now I'm making up for lost time <grin>.

Sharon,

Your situation sounds just like mine. I, too, decorate up the wazoo for

Christmas (the

non-secular aspects), though it isn't " my " holiday either. Must be a a Florida

thing!

Unfortunately, I wasn't able to view your video, but I have a great imagination

- haha! Too

bad you couldn't get to the stores yesterday for the 50% off sale. I thrive for

the day after

Christmas sales to my husband's despair. He wasn't thrilled at all to see all

that I brought

home... Although it has been chilly (windy) for the past 2 days, we were

sweating on

Christmas day. I'll be in NY on Wednesday for our appointment with Dr. H. All

I can see is

that it better snow!

Kim-

Pity the video didn't work for you. The link actually doesn't work for me

either, because I

have a Mac. But I have an iMovie of it, so it's OK. It's not exactly the same as

seeing a

movie, but here's a still photo.

Their heads go up and down and their wings flap.

Didn't make it to the storeson Sunday but went to Walmart, CVS and Walgreen's

today.

Blew about $200 <G>.

Sharon,

Looks like we have more in common - I have a Mac too. No wonder I couldn't

view your

video. I was able to see the picture though, and your house looks great! I

like the

flamingos (assuming that is what they are). Around here, several people have

light up

palm trees in lieu of Christmas trees. You don't even want to know hat I spent

after

Christmas and still spending today - ugh.....
