Note that these recipes are for 1 portion. Salmon Goulash ½ small can of salmon ¼ cup of cooked peas ½ cup cooked spaghetti squash 2 tbsp tahini (for advanced only) Heat together in small pot, adding a little water, till hot. I like this with grilled red peppers and zucchini. Black Bean Dish ½ cup cooked black beans 1 garlic clove small onion ½ cup grape tomatoes ½ red or yellow pepper ½ cup butternut squash Fry everything but the beans in a little oil and 1 or 2 tsps of curry. When starting to get soft, add beans and continue stirring to desired consistency. Mimma’s Fish Recipe Your choice of white fish; my favorite is cod, 1 large or 2 small fillets ¼ cup dry white wine ¼ cup black or green olives ¼ cup grape tomatoes a few basil leaves 1 garlic clove small onion Fry onion, garlic, basil and fish in a little oil. Add tomatoes, olives and wine. I rather bake my fish because of my acid reflux. If you bake it add your wine and ingredients on top of the fish while it’s baking. Avocado Salad Peel and dice large very ripe avocado Add ¼ of lime or lemon Add a handful of roasted almonds Add sea salt to taste Very yummy. If you can have raw vegetables, have some red pepper, small carrots and grape tomatoes after this salad. It helps to digest them better if you start with the avocado. For me, anyways. Vegetables and Tahini Cook your favorite vegetables and arrange in a plate Sprinkle with a couple tbsp of tahini (sesame butter) This makes a nice light meal when you’re not too hungry. I like it for dinner. You can also use nut butter instead of tahini. Yogurt Delight 1 cup of homemade yogurt cheese 1 handful of roasted almonds 1 tbsp of dried raisins This makes a hummy snack that is very satisfying. Enjoy! GERDS and chronic C. Guest guest
I see on page 27 of the book where it says to soak split peas, but i'm confused.. why would fresh peas be different?Because they are not hardened and dried. You have to cook them for several hours until they are ready - evenwithout soaking. Fresh peas takes minutes.Mara
