I eat no greens and would like to add something in. I don't have a vitamix yet but would love one. I do have a Breville juicer that I need to get back too. But that's for juicing and not eating the veggies. In the early stages of the diet, I would cook the spinach before pureeing it in the Vitamix. — Marilyn New Orleans, Louisiana, USA Undiagnosed IBS since 1976, SCD since 2001 Darn Good SCD Cook No Human Children Shadow & Sunny Longhair Dachshund Babette the Foundling Beagle
Guest guest
Followup: I just bought an extractor/juicer and cabbage juice is SO much better this way than in a blender. It tastes GREAT, almost sweet. Not cabbagey at all. And since I can't tolerate fruit or juices it's a real nice addition to my diet. I'm going to try spinach soon and other greens!! Whoopee. > > >Is it ok to juice spinach in a vitamix? Or does > > >it have to be cooked? I eat no greens and would > > >like to add something in. I don't have a vitamix > > >yet but would love one.
